Policies & Procedures
New Age Institute and Consulting provides an enriched learning environment that has helped countless students get ahead. The following are our policies to keep our learning environment a positive one!
Attendance Policies and Course Cancellation
Students must be present and on time for each class/meeting. This will prepare students for the transition into the work force where employers demand regular and punctual attendance.

Students shall notify instructor in advance of any anticipated absences.

A maximum of two excused (2) absences during the course will be allowed. If unable to meet on the scheduled day, another day will be discussed and arranged with the instructor.

More than two absences for any reason may result in termination from course.

Students who have been absent are expected to complete all missed work.

The instructor will attempt to notify all students of any class cancellation within 24 hours of the scheduled start time.

If NAIAC cancels the course the student can elect to:

Receive a refund of a prorated amount (Please see “Students Leave of Absence”)​

Reschedule with NAIAC for a new date and time to finish the course with the exam.

Students on Leave of Absence
If a student requires a leave of absence during the course, the instructor should be notified immediately. The student will be given one year to re-enroll in course without paying an additional instructor’s fee ($200). Depending on time of re-enrollment additional fees may be assessed for updated workbooks, coding books, AAPC Membership, and/or any materials utilized. Any re-enrollment is handled on a case-by-case situation.
Under no circumstances are the workbooks, coding books, AAPC memberships, and or any materials utilized for the class courses are refundable fee. The current year coding manuals and workbooks cost may be applied. After one year of student absence, all course fees will be applied. There will be no refund due to the student.
Student Conduct and Termination
Students are expected to conduct themselves as responsible adults. Causes for dismissal from training would be:

Attending class while under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs

Behavior disruptive to the class/meetings

Excessive Absences
-
Failure to pay tuition
-
Physical or verbal abuse of another person
-
Theft of property occurring in class/meetings
-
Academic Cheating
-
Destruction, Damage or Misuse of facilities or property

Sexual Harassment
When appropriate, NAIAC will issue warnings prior to dismissing a student for poor conduct. If a student is dismissed, he or she may appeal in writing to Dani Bradley, Instructor, whose decision will be final. Readmission to course following dismissal or withdrawal will be at the sole discretion of Dani Bradley, Instructor. A written request from student should contain a summary of why the student feels he or she should be readmitted. Extenuating circumstances will be taken into consideration; however, NAIAC reserves the right to refuse to readmit any student who does not meet the academic or behavioral standards.
Rejection & Other Cancellations
NAIAC reserves the right to reject any applicant. If an applicant is rejected prior to NAIAC accepting them into any NAIAC Course, the applicant is entitled to a refund of all monies paid.

An applicant requesting cancellation more than three business days after enrolling in a class, but prior to start date of the class, is entitled to a refund of all monies paid minus an administrative fee of $300.
